Stephanie Boris is an active member of N3AP and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, having completed a certification course provided by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She would be happy to help you navigate through the maze of concerns in this area.

Stephanie is an attorney at the Elder Law Offices of Shields & Boris. She graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. Her undergraduate degree is from the Duquesne University School of Business Administration where she majored in accounting. She enjoys problem-solving with her clients to help them feel more secure about the future.

Stephanie is an active member of Planning & Protecting, an organization of premier estate and elder law attorneys from across the nation for attorneys to learn and share information in the areas of elder law and best practices. In 2019, Stephanie became a founding member of the National Alliance of Attorneys for Alzheimer’s Planning, (N3AP), a national association for member attorneys who focus on Alzheimer’s Planning. Additionally, she became a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners during her attendance at the 2nd annual N3AP conference.

Stephanie is married to Tom Boris, a founding partner of the Elder Law Offices of Shields & Boris, and they have two wonderful sons, Thomas and Nicholas.
